Robin Spindler and Michelle Kibbe, along with Kim Barley, demonstrated and answered questions about decorating Fenton glass. Volunteer Kay Saionz (left), chairs Ellen and Ken Stohler, plus Wanda Scalf and Lynda Randolf  are among the many who helped feed the hungry hordes during the convention. Doug McIntosh oversaw glass sales and helped Kay Saionz select and pack glass purchased during the sale.  Volunteering to man the club's glass sales room were, from left, Thom Murphy, Claire Kauffung, and Sarah Plummer.  Sharon Fenner stopped by to check things are going smoothly.                                         Members enjoyed a beautiful evening aboard the Valley Gem Sternwheeler.  The weather was perfect.  The food and fellowship was great.  A good time was had by all!

What's New from Fenton?   Cameo artist Kelsey Murphy and George Fenton discuss what collectors can expect to see from Fenton in the future.                                Members looked at several intricate Kelsey Murphy cameo pieces that were part of the presentation by George and Nancy Fenton.           Kelsey Murphy creations, available in limited numbers, were among the highlights.  These may be available to Cameo Club members.     Members looked at several intricate Kelsey Murphy cameo pieces that were part of the presentation by George and Nancy Fenton.

Anne Nemeth won the Ruby satin parrot lamp, the first prize of the 2009 raffle. C. Alan Craig, Fla., won the 1st Time attendees drawing at the annual meeting. Consignment Auction........ Many left the consignment auction of  the glass of Bill and Martha McGinnis with treasures.  It was a great opportunity to see many pieces decorated by Louise Piper and Frances Burton, in addition to many Burmese items.  Les Rowe, John Newman and Carl Glasgow "walked" the glass.                               Glass Making 2009............ Several club members enrolled in glassmaking class to get a first-hand feel for whatit's liketo make their own unique pieces.  They worked under the tutelage of offhand mastercraftsmen Dave Fetty and Frank Workman.                     At right:  2008 creations by Alan Kauffung.        Frank Workman demonstrates Mon. morning.
