Members enjoyed a beautiful evening aboard the Valley Gem Sternwheeler.  The weather was perfect.  The food and fellowship was great.  A good time was had by all!

Consignment Auction........

Many left the consignment auction of  the glass of Bill and Martha McGinnis with treasures.  It was a great opportunity to see many pieces decorated by Louise Piper and Frances Burton, in addition to many Burmese items.  Les Rowe, John Newman and Carl Glasgow "walked" the glass.

Glass Making 2009............

Several club members enrolled in glassmaking class to get a first-hand feel for whatit's liketo make their own unique pieces.  They worked under the tutelage of offhand mastercraftsmen Dave Fetty and Frank Workman.                     At right:  2008 creations by Alan Kauffung.

The National Imperial Glass Museum is presenting a stunning exhibit of Imperial Free Hand glass through October 31.
